We’re looking for fun, reliable, and child-friendly individuals to join our growing team at Costume Hire NI. As a performer, you’ll bring our exciting mascots and costumes to life at parties, events, and promotions across Northern Ireland.
What you’ll do:
Wear and perform in mascot / character costumes.
Interact with children, families, and event guests in a safe and friendly way.
Help create fun, memorable experiences for everyone.
Represent Costume Hire NI with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm.
We provide look-alike costumes and mascots for hire across Northern Ireland. You can book them with a performer (“manned hire”) or rent costumes for your own use (“unmanned hire”).
Simply contact us with your event details (date, time, location, and which character you’d like). A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
We ask for 50% upfront as a deposit when booking. The remaining 50% is paid in cash at the end of the event.
Our standard pricing covers events within our local area. Additional travel or mileage fees may apply for venues further away, but we’ll always confirm this before your booking.
If you cancel more than 24 hours before your event, we’ll do our best to reschedule or offer a partial refund. If you cancel within 24 hours, your deposit is non-refundable.
You are responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement if a costume or equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen during your hire.
Yes! Our mascots are very popular at children’s parties. However, children must always be supervised by a parent/guardian. Our performers are entertainers, not childcare providers.
Yes, if the performer is available, we may be able to extend the booking for an additional fee. Please discuss this on the day.
Absolutely! You’re welcome to take photos and videos at your event for personal use. Please note that mascots/costumes cannot be used for advertising or political purposes without our permission.
Sometimes we may take photos or short videos for our social media and promotions. If you’d prefer us not to, just let us know when booking.
